Hi All
While defining APO DP BAckground jobs there is an option of
Exec Target: this comes after Job Name , Class and Status. (We are using Version SCM 4.1)
I have to recreate all jobs with operational id as person id who has created jobs will be deleted. Few jobs has Exec Target defined (Example: ews0003_DAP_12). And there is different number to another job. Can some advice is there any relevance or effect in job if this is not defined or do I need to define the same way as in original job. And what does this mean.
Thanks
Siva
Hi Siva,
Which transaction are you talking about? is it in MC8D/8E or SM37?

This is the server on which you want to execute the job. In case you have multiple servers, you can specify the one you want the job to run or in case of external systems, you can trigger the job from here and if you leave it open, if you have multiple servers, the system determines the one with lowest system load.
Click on the "Exec. Target" in SM36 and press F1 to get more information.
