Does the Logic language in writing Functional Specs need ABAP language knowledge,or does logic language while writing Specs for transferring or allocating fields to tables have certain pattern of its own. Please can some one expert in this field educate me on this, with some material to read and learn also.

Hi ,
Function Specs is a document which explains the Functional requirements to the Technical Consultants to meet the of the Business Demands/Requirements.
First the Functioncal consultant has to understand the Scenario of the Business Requirement ,to meet that what are the Programs/Output Programs/Forms/BAPI/User Exits are to be miodified or identified.
Then he has to identify what are the Tables/Fields required to put the logic .
Each & Every Other Customert has thier own Functional Specs Format , But general FS doc contains the Logic expalined in detail and supporrted by the Table Fields/Program involved .
If possible some Test data is also included in the FS.

Hi vikram
Generally we need to give inputs to the ABAP'ers as per the requirement. So we need to give the table names and the field names.as per the report we are doing .In the inputs we need to give table names and field names so that the output should come correctly.
