hi all,
Do we have to create a new PO even the PO number is given already before creating sales order?
Thanks.
Regards,
Hi joanne anniston,
As per ur explanation i understood that, u have given P.O NO. in the sales orderr, actually that P.O. no. is used as a reference to the subsequent document., while in STO WHEN U try to createP.O it will get another no. which was configured by MM consultant....hope u got it.
so that p.o no. not relevant to the P.O which u created..
regards,
ram

Hi there,
PO created before a sales order? For normal 3rd party scenarios a sales order will be created 1st & then a PR & PO.
Is your scenario a stock transfer or cross plant transfer?
But In normal cases, once the PO is created no need to create it again.

Hi,
Its a stock transfer. For example, I was given a PO number, customer ID, requested delivery date and material ID. I was asked to create a standard order based on the info given. Then, after maintaining the master data and just put in the PO number in the PO number field under sales order?
Thanks.
Regards.
Hi,
No, we dont have to create a new PO every time.
