legacy customer number in customer number

Hi dudes,

can i maintain in customer master record, the legacy number of customer and where

Dear Sri

In customer master General Data, there are two fields, viz.Name1 and Name2. You can maintain the legacy number in Name2 field. Alternatively, Search1 and Search2 fields are also there and if you maintain there, you can search by legacy number also.

Hi dude,

Yes u can make customer master number as legacy no. for it u have to create number range alpha-numaric in number range as Extranal then assign this number range to your customer's account group.

When u create customer master system will ask the external no. for customer where u can put external no. as lagacy no.
