How can I disable the system status "set & pass on" fuctionality?

When a Proj Def is set to status "RELEASE" the child WBS is set to status "RELEASE". We need to disable this functionality. The same effect occurs down the Proj Def tree with Networks and Network Activities.

How can we disable the PS system status "set & pass on" functionality?

why do you release at proj def level

why not at the respective WBS or network activity that ou want to release

i do not think that disabling the standard functionality will be such an easy task

you need to copule the use of authorisations - allowing only restricted persons to release the project onjects nad also look at changing your business process accordingly
