Hi.

CentOS-4.1

SAP NetWeaver 04 TESTDRIVE SR1

GUI connect error:

ABAP runtime error.

Error Analysis:

"verify own hostname (localhost) failed"

my /etc/hosts:

127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost

192.168.1.2 localhost.localdomain

195.155.155.1 nw4host # this line put SAP installer

---

What make for correction this error?

I don't think that you can have the same alias point to multiple IP addresses. I am not sure how the name resolution process would work then.

You are right. It works.

I remove all aliases from /etc/hosts

Now:

127.0.0.1 localhost

192.168.1.2 localhost1

195.155.155.1 nw4host

---

All OK.

I'm newbie with SAP...

I see GUI screen with prompt for user, password and language...

That further?

How I can test TestDrive?

What users and passwords by default are in system?

The documentation to SAP TestDrive is absent completely on DVD.

Any help on testing is welcomed...

is it the sneak preview system donwloaded from SDN or a full licensed system?

if its sneak preview.

you have user ddic / pwd minisap.

if its full licensed system i am not sure how you can unlock, since you cannot even log in, there may be some option for command line tools, which i dont know.
