hp-ux11 v3 kernal paramater for file cache

we are installing ecc 6.0 on db2

SAP SYSTEM ECC6.0

DATABSE :DB29.1FV5

while confuguring HP-UX we have to adjust parameter

filecache_max by default value is 4075143168

filecache_min by default value is 407511040

we have to set paramamter value for this two

as in recommended in notes

value should be lesss than 8% for paramaerter filecache_max

less than to 5% for filecache_min

out total ram size is 8gb

sp please suggest us which value we should use as we are not able to understand 8% of which value? as value is not 8% of total ram size
