Hi,
I have installed development DEV and quality QAS and trying to set up a transport path from DEV to QAS.
DEV is the domain controller.
I approve the QAS system in DEV but then in configuration status for QAS is shows "adjust configuration"
The configuration is not up to date.
From DEV if i run update configuration selecting QAS it executes successfully but the status remains the same.
Now in QAS system I run update configuration selecting QAS, it shows : No valid system specified (QAS)
-
System DEV Command TMS_MGR_TRIGGER_DISTRIBUTION
Client 000 Service Configuration Service
User BASIS Start Online
Date 07.11.2008 Function TMS_CFG_START_DISTRIBUTION
Time 16:27:20 Message SYSTEM_NOT_ALLOWED
No valid system specified (QAS)

Please suggest.

Amit

I am trying to set up transport route from DEV TO QAS.
DEV is the domain controller.
Then while configuring TMS in QUA I include that in domain dev and approve it from the system DEV.
But after approving its showing the configuration is not up to date
I distributed the configuration from DEV system but the status remains the same.
Then I tried to update configuration from QAS
it pop ups an error message "No valid system specified (QAS)"
The below is the error message pop up
System DEV Command TMS_MGR_TRIGGER_DISTRIBUTION
Client 000 Service Configuration Service
User BASIS Start Online
Date 07.11.2008 Function TMS_CFG_START_DISTRIBUTION
Time 18:49:04 Message SYSTEM_NOT_ALLOWED
No valid system specified (QAS)
I have deleted the TMS config several times and tried to reconfig through se06 and stms but no luck.

Go to STMS -> System Overview in you QA system and click on SAP System -> update configuration... that should pull the info from the domain controller.
