ChaRM for SAP BI systems?

Former Member

Hi!

We would like to implement ChaRM functionality for our SAP system landscape.

Among others we have 3 SAP BI systems.

Does some one experience with set up of ChaRM for SAP BI systems?

Do we have here a different approach as for other systems (e.g. SAP ERP 2005)?

Thank you very much!

regards

Thom

Hi Thom Heinemann ,

Yes ,Exactly The Approach is same for all the products...

You can implement ChaRM functionality for all the SAP product using common approach.

Hi Thom,

we are using a ECC landscape, a BI landscape, a Solution Manager landscape, and a CRM landscape within CHaRM. All landscapes are separate transport landscapes, and there is a transport domain link from SolMan Production system (as this is the transport domain controller).

To answer your question: The approach is all the same for any landscape (as long as they are just ABAP systems). The approach is different for Dual-Stack of Java systems, you would need CTS+.

Hi!

Thank you very much!

This is the point.

When I use SAP BI as part of SAP NetWeaver (ABAP and Java stack) what is the approach to set up a CTS+ with Solman Charm?

Do I need to integrate/synchronize Solman ChaRM with NWDI?

Thank you!
