could not create model

Hi Everyone,

In my Developer studio iam facing a problem while creating a model.when i rt click on medel it is showing a pop up with an error

the pop has the following details

plugin name Web Dynpro Model Editor

plugin ID com.sap.ide.webdynpro.modeleditor

class com.sap.ide.webdynpro.modeleditor.ModelEditorCallback

method createModel

message An error ocurred. See error log for more details.

Exception java.lang.NullPointerException: null

can anyone please sort me out this problem

Check your plugins for org.eclipse.. This problem may arise due to missing plugins.

Solved by changing the OS from Windows Vista to XP

This is the first time you are using models?

try restarting your nwds, still problem consist then try reinstalling the nwds.

I think some plugins were missed while installation.

which version of nwds you are using? whats the operating system?

there may be a chance of compatibility issue.

Hi ,

The OS iam using is vista. earlier i used nwds sp 14 on vista .it worked fine,but now iam using nwds sp 15 .Iam not able to create model now.my colleagues r using the same nwds sp but on xp ,they r not facing any issue.might me the problem with vista. Is there any way to resolve this issue.

Not sure becouse it's a window VISTA problem. as i possted details above.
