How to add new item in saplogon

Hi all,

I have insalled sap gui 710 on my laptop i want to add new item to my logon pad but after clicking on saplogon shortcut this cant give me the options to add or change to item on right side how can i set this.

Hi,

Is this your first time you add entry in saplogon ? or have you done successfully before ?

Do you see button : logon, groups, server, new item or user defined etc on the right side of saplogon ?

Do you able to add new item in the other saplogon on another PC?

If yes, please reinstall your sapgui/ saplogon on your own PC. it may solve your problem.

Are you start the saplogon.exe ? Check this first, if saplgpad.exe you can't do it. If saplogon.exe but can't see this functionality press on top left square --> options and deselect "Disable system edit functions"

press ok, and restart saplogon .

Hello Vinod,

In side your C drive you will have WINDOWS folder inside that there will be a "saplogon" file.

Open it with note pad . make the necessary changes and save It will be reflected in your logon pad.

These are the parameters which needs to be changed [Server], [Database], [Description]. [Address],
