Hello,

I have installed a new ECC system that we would be using for Development.

I am about to perform client copy and create a new client 100 for developers to start working.

Kindly advise on the Client Profile(SAP_ALL or SAP_CUST, etc.) that I should use for copying the client.

Kindly give the exact difference between SAP_ALL and SAP_CUST.

Regards,

Gautam.

Hi

1st go to SCC4 Client administration

set ur client role is like follows

1) Client role Should be -> customizing

2) Changes and transport for client-specific objects ->Automatic recording of changes

3) Cross client object Changes -> C/c should be allowed

4) Protection - Level 0 ( zero )

5) ecatt and catt -> allowed

after successfully client copy you can change setting acording to ru client u want

this is your prefect soltuion GO AHEAD

============================

SAP_CUST Customizing means all customization will copy from source clint to destination

SAP_ALL - every thing in sap defoult client

like 000 001

You can use profile SAP_ALL to create the new client.

Read the following to know the difference in between CC profiles,
