Need BR*Tools Studio assistance

Hi,

I have installed BR*Tools Studio for playing in "Multi-Instance Server Mode" on my Windows XP PC. I have installed the software under the path "C:\Programme\SAP BRTools Studio 7-10". The JDK is 1_4_2_18 and the Oracle Containers for J2EE is version 9.0.4. I have read note 1224432 and the supplied manual. Before starting the installation I have created a keystore file on the PC with keytool -genkey The keystore file .keystore was created in my home directory.

The installation itself was very easy. The https port is the standard 443. After the installation I have unzipped the archive oc4j_extended.zip to the following sudirectory:

C:\Programme\SAP BRTools Studio 7-10\web-app-server\oc4j

Thereafter I have tried to start the BR*Tools Studio Server in a DOS Window:

cd C:\Programme\SAP BRTools Studio 7-10

server.cmd

I get the following message:

08/11/07 07:28:49 Invalid jsp taglib location: C:\Programme\SAP BRTools Studio 7

-10\config\..\jsp\lib\taglib does not exist or is not a directory

08/11/07 07:28:50 Oracle Application Server Containers for J2EE 10g (9.0.4.0.0)

initialized

Ideas what`s wrong?

Joe

Hi Joe,

I got the same error when starting server.cmd but it works anyway so it is not so critical.

I also updated to JDK version 1.5 and it works much better now. I changed the https to http as

described in Stefan's blog .

For testing purposes it is much easier.

I'm very disappointed to performance and usage of BR*tools Studio. I have it installed on server and

tried to increase java memory but still quite slow.
