Automatic Batch Determination

Dear Consultants,

As I am working on OEM scenario,I have a query that while doing delivery,batch should come automatically but here it is not coming.When I try to enter it automatically,it takes the batch number and can go further.But Batch should come automatically as I do the delivery.

I have checked the Sales Area with Document type & search procedure.Here the batch indicator is activated.

So plz tell me tht where I hve to do the missing customizing.

Check V/CL Have u tick automatic batch determination - Automatic Batch Determin.in Delivery

Have u maintained VCH1?

Hi Dwarkesh,

V/CL - Automatic Batch Determination is already activated.

In VCH1,there was no record,then I maintained it for SD01( Key Combination - Material ) but still the automatic batch is not coming.

Check the condition type-SD01 have u maintained in Tcode V/C3 - Batch Determin.: Procedure ?

If not maintain and check.

Dear Mr.Dwarkesh,

For SD SD 01,SD03,SD04 & ZSD1 is maintained in SD0001.

I have maintained the condition record for ZSD1.

But still same problem.

Hi,

Juct check for your Item category whether "Automatic Batch Determination" is Activated or not... If not then activate it.

Now the problem is solved.

I had to maintain the class type with the the condition type of batch determination.
