Hi,
We have installed XI 3.1 on Sandbox with both .NET and Java environments. When I tried creating a webI document from .NET environment I get following error message
Unexpected error. If you cannot reconnect to the server, close Web Intelligence and start again. (WIJ 20002)
This works fine in Java environment, I am also icluding the detailed error message below if it helps
Version:null Application server:
http://system:80/AnalyticalReporting/cdzisapi.wis
Stack trace: java.lang.RuntimeException: java.io.FileNotFoundException: http://system:80/AnalyticalReporting/cdzisapi.wis at sun.net.www.protocol.http.HttpURLConnection.getInputStream(Unknown Source) at com.businessobjects.wp.cpi.CPIConnection.postRequest(Unknown Source) at com.businessobjects.wp.xml.XMLViaHttp.loadScript(Unknown Source) at com.businessobjects.wp.xml.XMLViaHttp.initInstance(Unknown Source) at com.businessobjects.wp.xml.XMLSession.load(Unknown Source) at com.businessobjects.wp.xml.XMLSession.load(Unknown Source) at com.businessobjects.wp.om.OMSessionLoader.load(Unknown Source) at com.businessobjects.wp.tc.TCMain.initClient(Unknown Source) at com.businessobjects.wp.tc.thread.InitAppletRunner.run(Unknown Source) at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source) at com.businessobjects.wp.cpi.CPIConnection.postRequest(Unknown Source) at com.businessobjects.wp.xml.XMLViaHttp.loadScript(Unknown Source) at com.businessobjects.wp.xml.XMLViaHttp.initInstance(Unknown Source) at com.businessobjects.wp.xml.XMLSession.load(Unknown Source) at com.businessobjects.wp.xml.XMLSession.load(Unknown Source) at com.businessobjects.wp.om.OMSessionLoader.load(Unknown Source) at com.businessobjects.wp.tc.TCMain.initClient(Unknown Source) at com.businessobjects.wp.tc.thread.InitAppletRunner.run(Unknown Source) at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)
Any help will be much appreciated.
Thank You,
Goutham.
Hi,
i'm also facing the same issue (with tomcat) when refreshing the webi report (scheduling the same report works fine). This issue has just started. It looks like the error occurs 60 secs after it's being run.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks.

We found the resolution to this issue. This issue happened for us because of the change in proxy settings in IE. Once the setting was changed in IE, the webi reports (the ones that run over 60 secs) when refreshed in modify mode are working fine now.
Thanks.

Hello all,
There is a solution for BOXI 3.1 on IIS6. The problem is that WEBI uses a .WIS extensions. This extension is not recognised within IIS6. This extension is not loaded while ASP.net install. So this extensions has to be added!
1 Go to IIS manager -> Default web site
2 Right click default website, then properties
3 go to tab Home Directory -> Then click configuration
4 In the mappings tab click Add
5 Type Excecutable: "C:\Program Files\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0\win32_x86\cdzISAPI.dll"
Note: Make sure you have to give this in " ". Otherwise you will get file not exists.
6 Type Extension: .wis
7 make sure that "verify that file exists" is not checked!
Hope it helps.
Best regards,
erbuncho

Has anyone had any joy with this? Is it still an issue? If not, how did you fix it?

I have the exact same problem. .Net Infoview spits out that error, but Java Infoview runs just fine. I've restarted the WebI services and it didn't help.
