I was asked to be back-end support to E-Sourcing. I was given no documentation on how the system is set-up (ie: table names, field names, UI links). Where should I start?
Hi,

hi all,
i am also working on E-Sourcing and new to this software.can anybody tell me
1) how to import spend data into the FACT table FCI_SA_FACT_STAGExxx. Do we have to write any script for importing data or what?
Please note that data is already there in the dimension tables.

The backend database for E-Sourcing application is Oracle. The database is designed as object oriented. There's an E-R diagram avaiable through the application front end on the RG (Reference Guide link). See if you are able to get a copy of that E-R diagram which will be a great way to start. The E-R diagram is outlined as per each module in the application and flows along the application design.
Let me know, if you need any additional info.
