How to add stocks in Storage Bin directly???

Hi All...

Is there is anyway where can i add stocks to the Storage bin directly for a materialin WM.If so what is the tcode. For example adding stocks using 561 movement type in Inventory Management.

If you would be able to add stocks directly to WM, then your WM system would not be in sync with IM.

Usally the origin is in IM and then you have to do the WM stuff (TO creation and confirmation) with the exeption of a physical count.

You can add stock with a physical inventory, then you have to post the found stock to IM by clearing transactions LI20 and LI21.

But WM can be customized and automated, so it can post directly to a certain bin when you do the movement in IM.

- Transaction MB1C

- upload stock using movement type 501

- Material doc will be created

- In the Material doc, Transfer requirment num will be there.

- Pick the Transfer requirement number

- transaction LT04

- Putaway the stock in WM storage type.

This is the easiest way.

No TR will be created.

Directly stock will get uploaded in interim storage type 998.

Now you can create a TO manually using LT01 and move the stock from 998 to the respsctive storage type as required.

if you customize first the movement type 561 like this:

execute OMCJ transaction.

Select movement type 561

go into detail

select group warehouse management

go into detail

set WM storage bin to opt. entry.

Then you can do MB1C with 561 and directly post into the final bin wthout need to go thru 998 storage type.

Another easiest method

- Transaction MB1C

- upload stock using movement type 561

And check the stock in LS26

Stock would got uploaded in storage type 998

Using LT01 move the stock to appropriate storagetype

But quick doubt to be clarified , When i use 561 mvt type does it suppose to create all the auto TR and then

using TR need to convert to TO??

Since in my settings i am not allowed to manually create TO?

Please can you please brief between the link between the Mvt Type between the IM and WM for this scenario.
