I just completed ECC 6.0 succesfully , I created one user in 000 client , Can you tell me please how can i login using the newly created user in the web portal . iam able to login j2ee_admin in the portal , But i cant able login

After installation by default the portal will be pointing to client 001,So login to 001 is possible.If you want to login to 000 then youhave to change the default client.
logon to the Visual Administrator with the j2ee_admin
user and browse to the 'Configuration Adapter' service. Navigate to 'cluster_data -> server -> cfg -> services' and edit Propertysheet "com.sap.security.core.ume.service". Change Property "ume.r3.connection.master.client" to the new client. Save and restart the J2EE Engine.

Hi,
create a user in 001 client and then you will be able to login via web. Default in ABAP+JAVA
stack the UME is 001 client
