Help with BOM in outbound deliveries without reference (VL01NO transaction)

Hello, we have implemented the use of BOM for sales orders, and is working perfectly. Now we need to do the same for outbound deliveries without order reference (VL01NO transaction), I have made all configurations as I did for it to work on sales orders without success, the material list is not exploding. Is there any other special configuration or consideration to take into account for it to work in this kind of deliveries?

Thanks in advance.

Hi

Guess, your BOM material is for Main Item Level Processing and the Item Category Group for this in the Material Master should be ERLA. Since only the main material is Delivery relevant and the sub items are not relevant for delivery, the subitems are not seen in the delivery. Please check the Material master record for the Item Category Group. If it is ERLA, change it to LUMF and try to create the delivery.

Please post the outcome.

Thanks,

Thanks Ravi for your answer. The Item category for main item is already LUMF, that's because we need to use it to pack items, so the main item is only for packing purpose and the sub-items are the ones to be delivered.

Dear Rodrigo

Not sure but check in 0184 where for your delivery type, you have maintained the item category group (LUMF) and item category (TAQ / TAP)

thanks

Thanks Lakshmipathi, actualy we have this:

LUMF -> TAP for main item category

NORM TAP -> ZCSG for sub item category

As we need that the sub items are also available for normal deliveries (not as part of a package). That configuration worked at least for sales order but not for deliveries.

Regards,

Rodrigo.
