Hi,
what is needed in terms of passwords to access a web service ( server-side) provided on a SAP Web AS, from outside the company network/externally, please ?
I have only experience in connecting from within the company domain: the client side needed the WSDL, the sap user and password and that was it. So, are there any more requirements for connecting from outside the company domain ?
thanks,
Rolf
Hi Rolf,
In terms of user and password you will need exactly the same as you access it from inside the company.
You have to ensure the consumer application is able to "ping" the server of your web service.
Depending on your network you will have to stabilish a VPN, or put a web server at DMZ.

Cezar
