This is my first Netweaver installation.

Anyone knows in which CD/DVD is the SAP:J2EE-CD:630:::I386:* ?

Anyone has de list of each component on every CD?

Or at least the list of the CDs for the Netwaeaver Installation?

Download --> Installations and Upgrades --> Entry by Application Group --> SAP NetWeaver --> SAP NETWEAVER --> SAP NETWEAVER 04

What all components you planning to install like EP/BI etc?

If you dont have the CDs and want to download, which files exactly do you need in that long list?

I want to install:

- WAS 6.40

- XI 3.0

- SAP EP 6.0

- KM

Then go to the above link and download the CDs or do you have CDs with you? If you have CDs start Installation from Master CD , In that you will get options for installing WAS,XI,EP etc.

Hi Prince:

I'm new to SAP envmnt. Well i went thru this conversation for installing WAS, NWDS & EP. Can u help how (from which DVD)shud i start installing the WAS. I guess i need to install WAS first, then NWDS or ED rite? If i'm not write correct me plz..!

The DVDs i've are: SAP NetWeaver 04

DVD 1: SAP EP 6.0, SAP TREX 6.1

DVD 2: Support Release 1, SAP Web AS Java, SAP NWDS, IGS

DVD 3: Support Release 1, NetWeaver Components

From DVD do i need to start installing WAS, NWDS & EP on my machine. My machine is well set for SAP installation.

What DB you going to use? or you planning to install sneak preview ?

Sequence is DB ->WAS --> EP/XI/BI etc

Hi Prince:

Thnx for the reply. But i'm done with the installation. Started as follows:

Master DVD -> MaxDB -> Web AS Java -> EP (or we may also install other components available)

Since i'm working on EP, i've installed it.

DVDs required for this instal'n are:

1. Master DVD

2. Web AS Java

3. SAP NetWeaver Components

Should be something that says "Master Installation" or "J2ee Engine" or WebAS. Something like that.
