Error while registering CCMS Agent !!!!

Hey,

I was trying to configure the SAPCCMSR agent in the development PORTAL which is a NON ABAP stack .

I am getting the following error:

1 ) ERROR: DSR: Dynamic Library dsrlib.o is Non-Unicode.

Cannot load this library

2) ERROR: Cannot open Monitoring Segment 0 rtc = 245

3) Error during registration of CCMS Customizing destination

User not authorized. Session terminated

Please guide me on this.

Hey....

Sorry for updating sooooooo LATE.

i was going thorigh my posted questions , when I landed onto this question.

Well as far as I can remember , this scenario saw the light of the day.

What we did , was we installed and configures SOlution Manager 7.1 and used ROOT CAUSE ANALYSIS along with Wily's Introscpe Manager to monitor the JAVA Systems in our landscape.

Could you plz elaborate as wat do u mean by unicode systems?

Hi ,

First you have to reg tru in OS level with profile details

SAPCCM4x -R profile=SID_DVS_00

then you try from visual admin

HI MLN

I think SAPCCM4x is needed to monitor ABAP stack.

I need to monitor the PORTAL ( only JAVA stack).

To my knowledge for monitoring CEN , SAPCCMSR is enough.

And how do i register in OS level.

Hi,

But I guess to monitor JAVA instance you need Solution Manager Diagnostic, CA Wily Introscope or Sitescope installed.

Have you activated the CSMREG user in the backend system?,

Also are both the systems unicode systems?

hi ,

This is an windows or unix machine. Check the file SAPCCM4X file in your run directory on your system.

Hi,

Hey CCMS agent will be already present in your system,

You have to register this in your visual amin. You can monitor the alerts in your abap stack,which is added as backend system for your portal server.
