I created one software component with the name cagnos and vendor as ibm.But i am not able to import that one.I am getting this error.

"No authorization to import the object "External Software Component 7.0 | ibm | CAGNOS | 0 | CAGNOS , 7.0 of ibm""

Acutually no special authorization is required other than the developer ID. Make sure u r trying to import it from Tools -> Transfer from System Landscape Directory ->

Import Software Component Versions. Also goto Environment -> Clear SLD data cache.

Hi Check iwth u r basis team u r not having authorization as Developer

there are Roles for Developer in xi as SAP_XI_DEVELOPER
