Hi Gurus

Need yr expertise. We have a scenario where we need to post 2 outpout tax. During invoicing (VF01) we hit an error "Tax code XX does not appear in any G/L account item". We have 1 output tax where we calculate from selling price and teh otehr one from transfer price which is statistical.

After looking thru the OSS notes (112609), we found that the error occurs becuase one of the price is statistical. If we do not set the transfer price as statistical, the selling price will become inactive which we do not one.

How do we set 2 output tax where it can be posted to FI successfully?

Appreciate yr help

Cheers.. Sanjay

Hi Sanjay,

I can think about 2 alternatives which might answering your business requirement:

1) Locate the transfer price before the selling price, in the pricing procedure.

In this case the selling price will follow the transfer price, and thus will always be active, while the transfer price will be inactive. The transfer price would be eligible as the basis for the 2nd tax, although it is inactive.

2) Define the transfer price as a statistical surcharge (quantity based; which is in terms of an independent calculation, is quite the same as price) and locate it anywhere in the pricing procedure.

In this case the statistical surcharge will not affect your pricing results. The transfer price would be eligible as the basis for the 2nd tax, although it is statistical.
