REG: Acknowledgement

I want information reg the configuratuin of acknowledgement . Please let me know the sites from where i can get information about this.

Hi

Acknowledgment is the confirmation of delivery of the message to receiver systems.

Sync Scenarios: Response is generated by the Receiver system.

For IDOC, you could have ALEAUD as an acknowledgment IDOC.

There are two types of JDBC acknowledgements Transport level and application level.

For IDOC acknowledgement ,go thru this and do the settings :

It is a file to idoc scenario.

Keep in mind that for File to Idoc scenario, the ALEAUD ack message would reach only till XI. To get it till the sender File system, you will have to use BPM.
