How to create Promotion letters, Termination letters, Confirmation letters

Hi SAP gurus,

My requirements are :

1.When an Employee's promotion is done, Promotion letter printout should be generated through SAP and email should go to Employee.

2. When an Employee leaves the company, Relieving letter printout should be generated through SAP.

3. When Company terminates any Employee , Termination letter printout should be generated through SAP.

Can you tell me how to acheive this.

hi

You can do all that using the dynamic actions, for indian scenarios there is one infotype introduced for correspondence letters , which also can be utilized.

Hi,

I have achieved it through custom T code,

I would like to describe it in brief.

1. I have developed a module pool program with following input parameters

Parameter-pernr(Employee No)

Radio button group (promotion letter, termination letter , confirmation letter)

2. I have developed smartform for promotion letter, confirmation letter etc.

3. I have read employee data from HR infotype (PA0000,PA0001,PA0002 etc) and checked related validation.

and letter are printed through smartform.

4. To send mail I have convert smartform output to pdf format and send it as attachment through function module

SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API to employee email Id.

I think this will give you little idea how to do it.

i am new to SAP-HR

need some tips from u...i have similar requirement

i need to generate a Confirmation letter in SAP and mail the same to that Confirmed employee.

first of all i wan't system to automatically calculate Confirmation of the employee in SAP and generate letter and mail it in PDF format.

Hi

Try the transction SO10 ...give PALT or PAMA in the text id field in this transction....u will find sample letters...

for automatic mail to concerned persons on executing certain actions can be acheived thru dynamic action....after u set ur entry in dynamic action u have to modify M0001 feature also( read documentation of this feature to knw wht values to be given for ur requreiemnt)

In present scenario what different companies do is to create a smart form for the same.

For eg: Lets say u want to generate offer letter ffrom SAP. What you have to do is give the format of your offer letter to the abaper and he will do the needful.
