How to refresh the view not by user's action

I want to develop a simple web message system like web msn, but now I have a question. I open two windows ,When I get the message from other windows, how can I display this message on my windows?

Because there are no any action to be touched in my windows, how display the message from other window on my windows auto?

I guess you can use TimeTrigger component for automatic periodical refreshing your view.

yes, now I use the timedtrigger to refresh the view , but I think user who use this system will feel not better if the view is refreshed continued.

So I hope there are solutions that only when the message come to the view ,the view displayed the message .
