Hi,
I have installed the NSP and J2E sneakpreview in parallel on my notebook. Unfortunately the J2E starts up on system boot, stealing a lot of resources. I tried to prevent the startup by disabling the SAPJ2E* services, but even then it comes up on system boot.
Does anybody know how I can force the J2E stack to start manually?
Thanks
Mario
Hi Mario,
you need to change the value of the Autostart property to 0 (zero) in the start profiles of your Web AS: START_<InstanceID>_<host> and START_<Central instanceID>_<host> under \usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\profile directory.

hi Mario,
Change the <b>ORACLE SERVICE "ORACLESERVICEJ2E" Start type settings to MANUAL </b> from your Control Panel --> Admin Tools --> Services in case you are using Win32 OS. by doing so, you'll have to start the services and hence the server manually.
Regards
Arun.
