Hi folks,
I am working on a CU&UC migration (4.6C -> ECC 6.0, Windows, MaxDB) and wonder if I could save some time after migration when exporting/importing already generated loads from a test system which got the same environment (release/machine type/os/kernel patch level) like the target system.
Could I expect time savings or does export/import take about the same amount of time as generating the loads from scratch?
If so, what tables do contain the loads?
Thanks!
Hi Christian,
the load is in table REPOLOAD. And yes it usually will save time. You may export the load from a test system and then import it in your new system, but I don't think that the saved time is worth the effort. Usually you have plenty of time during post migration steps to build the loads.
Regards
Ralph
