Substance Volume Tracking -Automatic block is not possible

Hi all,

Iam working on IMP(Procurement) scenario in Substance Volume Tracking......

While creating or editing the purchace order for a material(when quantity limit is exceeded), system is not blocking the business process automatically.

The error message is :Automatic block is not possible; block item 000010 manually"

Message no. CBRC_REGCHECK106

(In IMG, functional modules are defined for Online checks & for Relative Quantity limit values, indicator is set for Proc.Block)

What function I need to follow to make the system block the business process automatically.

Any help would be appreciated.

hi,

In the online checks in substance vloume tracking , the system can block documents by setting a specific user status when documents are saved, e.g The set user status can then prevent subsequent processes such as the release of order.

However, You have not mentioned whether the sysem gives message with indicator lights RED ,YELLOW or GREEN as the case my be. But, in practicle scenario though you exceed the quantity limit the system gives you message in Red but still you can save the PO.You have to block the PO. manually and simultenously your message is sent to the concerned dept. to augment the registered quantity limit. Once this limit is increased you get the message and then again you can unblock the individual doc. manually.the system then resets the user status that is set to the block the doc.
