Workspace differences between local an DTR

Former Member

Hello everybody,

we can't build/deploy from our CBS because of missing workspace parts (In fact we do not know how the difference was caused between lokal workspace and DTR).

Is there any documentation/Weblog/best-practises etc. to get the DTR into the right state?

Thanks a lot

Hi Mario,

I also had a similar problem.

It was due to the fact that there was a change made to the track which created a new version in JDI.

Check this thread in the JDI Forum for the solution.

Hi Mario,

From NWDS have a look at the DTR perspective, look for the project that you're having problems with, under the 'inactive' folder.

Have a look in the 'src' folder, and the folders inside there, such as the 'packages' folder. If any files there have a little blue house icon beside them then right click and select 'Add'. The icon means that those files exist localy only and not in the DTR. This can happen if someone starts developing without connecting to the DTR first, it can happen, also if someone accidentaly chooses not to add development changes to an activity or if they 'revert' an activity and then don't 'Sync resources' after.

Perhaps this will help,

Patrick.
