JAVA license applying procedure

I am going to apply JAVA license to our BI system a very first time.Please let me know how to get the license from service market place and applying procedure.

I guess it should be applied from Visual administrator but not aware of the exact steps.I would appreciate your help on this.

Hi,

If you have BI Portal (ABAP+JAVA stacks) you have to apply Portal License also.you need to upload the licence after receiving from MarketPlace via Visual Administrator ---> Licencing Adapter

In a dual-stack system (ABAP+Java in a single SID) you only need to apply the license to the ABAP stack and the Java stack will read the license from there. If your BI systems uses separate stacks (ABAP and Java in separate SIDs), then you will need to license each stack individually.

Just go to SMP -> Keys and requests -> License keys -> Request license key -> And fill all details
