Sales order with sub order

Because of the MOQ issue, customer place huge amount of order, but they are not place the order at the time, will be separated into several sub-order, but refer for the main order, and the price should not be changed. I would like to know how to create/config the sales order, between the main order and sub order have linkage, once the sub order is palced, the main order quantity will be deduct. C

Hi,

You can use quantity contract functionality to fulfill the requirement.

Create a quantity contract with expected quantity to be delivered based on customer information.

Then whenever a delivery is needed, create a sales order with reference to this contract. By this way, you can maintain the same pricing and at the same time the quantities to be delivered in the contract will be reduced after a delivery is made.

Hi,

You have to create the 2 order types and maintain the copy control in VTAA.Also, remember to maintain the completion rule for parent order item category as B.
