work order cost calculation

Hi ,

Can any one Explain the calculation of Cost (estimated, Planned and Actual )in Work order for Internal Operation , External operations and material ?

Hi,

Cost calculation basically happens in Plant maintenance costing variant and valuation variant. A costing variant would contain Costing type and Valuation variant. Valuation variant would have the definition of Prices from where the costs needs to be picked up and is assigned to costing type.

The display of costs are set in the plant maintenance SPRO setting in settings for display of costs, where the costs are displayed based on value categories.

The above mentioned point is the structure.

Physical costs comes from

Material master for materials

Activity costs defined in KP26 for activity types.

can you explain in detail

cost calculation for the order will be done by the material ,activity type and services used in the order.

Material cost will be derived from material master ,labour cost from the planning for activity
