Hi,

SAP Communication: CPI-C Programming (BC-CST-GW) In this documentation, you will learn how to implement program-to-program communicationbetween SAP Systems (R/3 or R/2) and with external programs and systems using SAPu2019s CPI-Cinterfaces. CPI-C programming is only raequired in the following cases: · Your program communicates with systems that do not support RFC (R/2 before Release 5.0D). · You want to define your own protocol on the basis of CPI-C.· You want to change an existing program which contains CPI-C calls.The Remote Function Call interface further simplifies the implementation of communication. RFCis an SAP interface based on CPI-C. For more details on RFC, refer to the documentation

Hi

The SNC configuration for external CPIC client programs is located in the sideinfo file. For CPIC server programs (started or registered), the SNC parameters are passed to the server program from the client
