Hi
Sometime back we were running our SAP http service on port 8000, but all of a sudden, now we are not able to start the service on that port.
The service remains inactive.
SO we had to change the service in SMICM to run on some other port(8001) temporarily.
But we do not understand what changed all of a sudden, which now prevents the http service to start on that port.
We have checked NETSTAT OPTION(*CNN) and there is no service running on "local port" 8000.
Have been thru that list 10 times, but still can't see the port.
But surprisingly in the LS port scanner , it show port 8000 as open, which mean it is running some TCP protocol.
We have IPLed twice and still the same thing.
How do we figure out this piece?
Any ideas??
Thank you
sap ques..
Don't worry...
Just stuck me to look at the services file...
A vision service is running on that port..
Gotta change that one..
