In our System SO4 running on machine "nta02sap" I want to be able to donwload all required JAVA and ABAP archives in MOPZ for a System, e.g.

E7I. For this i created two logical components for the system

E7I: "ZERP2005_IDES" and "ZERPE7I_JAVA".

My problem shows as follows: When I want to calculate the required updates for this system via Maintenance Optimizer it only shows me the JAVA archives, but not the ABAP archives.

How can I ensure that the ABAP archives will also be downloaded by MOPZ/SLM?

Assign the system E7I the Java instance, don't use two logical components.

- open the system im SMSY

- choose which Java component you have installed and select "also installed"

- click on the "new" button on the right an select the corresponding Java instance

I thought of two seperate solutions, one for abap, with the logical components only for abap archives, and one for java. But in dead, it didn't help.

Anyone any idea?
