To Change the ITEM Category in Equipment Bill Of Material.

Once Equipment BOM is created. Is there any way to change the Item Category in Equipment BOM.

Actual requirement is that whenever in Material Master, if the MRP Controller is changed for a particular Material through MM02. Correspondingly for the same Material, Item category should get change in the Equipment BOM where ever the Material is used.

Once the BOM is created it is not possible to change the item category,either you have to delete the material and re-enter the material with different item category
