making changes in Reports

Hi every one,

If I have to amend the reports ZSD_XXXX, how do I locate the tables and fields for the relevant descriptions, and make changes.Please explain

Your question is too vague. What do you want to change? Do you want to change the labels on the selection screen, the column headings on the report, or something else. The answer could be that the report program needs to be changed or maybe the data type needs to be changed. You will probably need to get an ABAP resource to help you. What needs to be changed could be in a number of different places. If you want to know the table name, you might be able to put the cursor on the field you want to change and hit F1 and then look at the technical details. It might show you the table name and it might not. It depends on how the program was written. The label and column descriptions could also be hard coded in the program.

Hi,

Enter TCode of this Z-program & on the selection screen, click on SYSTEM in tool bar then click on STATUS, one screen will pop-up, then double click on program. If you have any idea then you can find out things as per your requirement in the program else take help from Abaper.
