hi,

some materials have been blocked for procurement and production. Even though deletion flag is set for a material/plant level, the order can be still entered (with a warning message). Is there a way to block such transactions for a material flagged for deletion.

Hi,

In MM02, go to tab sales:sales org1. Here you can find a field called X-distribution chanin status. Assign a value (for example Obsolete material) from the drop-down list and enter the valid-from date. Then save the material master.

After entering this value, the user cant use this material in the sales order. The system will provide hard error.
