Hi...
I have an input file. Based on the feild flag in the input file i need to insert those details into the Details Table in SQL Server. And at the same time i need to update the logtime into the Log table. I will give the input file from webservice. so my query is to get the log time when the webservice is triggered and need to update it into the Log Table. Could you please help in this issue.
Regards,
Leela.
Hi,
You can use stored procedure at receiver end.
There you can return log end time from stored procedure.

HI leela
Are you getting any log time from the webservice.? if not then you can capture the systime during the mapping. Whenever the service is triggered it will pass data to your data base and you can capture time in mapping.
Will this work? or requirement differs
Thanks
Gaurav

Hi leela
Webservice logs in your case it is external system invoking the service only the program invoking can generate the logs.
If PI invokes the service we can have the logs from PI server even can be tracked as per moni.
If we think of workaround then either we need to capture sxmb_moni timings or SLG1 entries both require development effort to capture timings.
.net as well as Java servers are capable for event based logging. i think if you get this from sender system it would be easier.
If you get systime from sender system then you need to generate response from DB which provide end systime.
Thanks
Gaurav
