Exceeded Quantities for Production Order Components

Hi PP gurus,

How should the excess quantities for certain components of a specific FG reference to production order number be posted during MIGO--261? Is it allowed??

For instance FG has an ordered quantity of 100L, one RM1 is 50mL (based on BOM), however during production it was realized that 55mL was used(can it be posted during MIGO-261 mov.type) or during confirmation(we can change the quantities there in Goods Movement overview without any error).

Hi Matildo,

As per STD sap there are no any restriction emphasized on issuing further/exceed quantity then BOM for some component.

And you can separately track it also by selecting the "UN planned Goods Movement" in COOISPI.
