Hi All

I would like to perform Result Analysis at level 4 WBS Element

->Does that mean I have to input Planned data in the for each and every level beneath it or just for the WBS element for which i will run RA

->Planning and Billing element and RA key need to be indicated at which level? ( only at the level where Result anaylsis is performed or at all the levels)

->Is Account Assignment element required for performing RA?

Please advise. Thank you.

Hi,

To plan data for below WBS elements is depend upon ur configuration...whether ur going roll up function or your are using settlement from lower level wbs element to upper. This depend uopn businees process and system configured.

You can select planning and billing element for wbs elements for those you want to plan some cost and billing against that.

And RA key should be there for which wbs element you will run RA.

Again account assigment WBS element means you are going to post some actuals and commitment against this.

So master data is RA key and rest will be required to execute your project and same will be considered during RA run(like to bring cost in project...account assignement should be checked, for assignning wbs element to SO...billing should be checked.

Hi,

Eventually planned data should be there at the WBS level for which you are going to run RA, but again it depends upon the planning profile you are using for example: If you are using bottom up planning then the planned cost will automatically roll up to the header WBS element and hence automatically there will be a planned cost.

Planning & Billing should only be at the header WBS element for which you are going to run RA.

Yes, Acc. assignment should be there.

Thanks,
