Setting default application for tiff files...

Hello DMS Gurus,

When I go in CV03N tranaction tand try to click on original document, if its pdf it automaticaly opens with Adobe. But if its a TIFF image, the windows pops up a message syaing that select appropriate program to view the file.

How can I do the setting so that whenever such a tiff file is encountered, it will select that file ?

Hi Rajesh,

I estimate that in DC30 under 'Define Workstation Application in network' you have maintained the parameter %AUTO% for TIF application. This parameter will hand over the control to an external viewer, which is maintained in the windows folder options.

Please check which application you have maintained here for file format TIF. After you have maintained a program here for your TIF files for actions open and edit, the pop-up in the R/3 System should no longer be raised.
