Outbound status very slow in TC sxi_monitor

I got a crazy problem:

We are testing an interface in QA and we send Idocs from SAP to a non-sap system.

When we sent data that was already inserted in the other system DB we get the corresponding error message in the xml response.

But when we send something that must be inserted in the data base, we can see that appears a clock in the outbound status in the monitor and it lasts a few seconds till it turns into a flag.

The idoc is sent well, but the response of the other system is the next one:

<Response>-1</Response>

<ErrorMessage>Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding.</ErrorMessage>

I cant understand why this is happening.

It looks like a functional error but they dont know why is this happening.

Any ideas? What can I do to solve this?

It seems to be a problem in the non sap system in its database.

I dont know why turns so slow in bpm but this is not xi problem.
