Heterogeneous System Copy: problem in the Import phase Oracle Post load act

Hello!:

I'm doing a heterogeneous System Copy from a Tru64/Oracle to a Linux/Oracle System.

In the import, in the phase Oracle Post load activities appears the next problem:

MOS: 01012 /sapmnt/BWD/exe/startsap all DVEBMGS05 returned with 8

In the startsap.log we can see the next info:

start profile START_DVEBMGS05_server not found

We have seen the /sapmnt/BWD/profile and there are no files. So the SAP system doesn't start because there is not a profile generated.

The DB and the listener are running corectly.

For doing the export the DVD is the number 51033746 (Nw04 Master for Linux_x86_64), and for the Kernel the DVD is the number 51031035 (Nw04 Kernel).

In the /sapmnt/BWD/exe i've put the newest startsap and stopsap.

Can you help us?.

Thanks and regards,

Alfredo.

Did you search the file system for these profiles? Did you do anything with the directory /usr/sap after the install (possibly covering it up with an NFS share)?

Just wondering.

i've solved the problem creating the files of the profile manually.
