Hello

I want to pickup file from a local folder of my computer, using file adapter.

How can i specify the folder path for the file to be picked? Would it be something line "C:\XI\File"?

Do i need to install any FTP tool for this?

Please let me know the process...

Regards

Chandra

Yes, you need to install FTP. You don't need to specify the root node in your path, just use \XI\File.

You can also do your testing by using NFS mode in your Sender CC and for that you need to pick the file on XI server. You can find the dir paht by transaction AL11.

You need to have FTP server running on ur local m/c. Try to ftp and check the home directory. All the files will be picked from that location.
