Dispatcher not starting

Hi all,

I was installing BW 3.5 ABAP+JAVA on AIX 5.3 and Oracle 9.2.0.6.

I am stuck on JAVA Add in installation at start SAP j2ee engine.

My dispatcher is not starting. all the WP files of of size 0 and are empty.

Start logs shows that DVEBm00 and SCS01 have started.

DB is also starting. I tried to startup this from SQL prompt and i was able to mount and open it.

I am stuck real bad as i m not getting any help from logs.

It is able to ping and nslookup the host and it has entries in the DNS server. etc/hosts file also has a correct entry.

Only log file with some infor under work directory is dev_disp.

Hi Juan,

All the WP files. dev_w0, dev_w1 and so on are of 0 bytes and are empty.

Hi,

There was no error mesg in dev_ms. It was showing that it started.

Well, i have started to reinstall again...let c how it goes.
