Business Area

Hi! All,

There is one project which has been created with a particular Co.Code,Business Area and Plant. There is only one WBS Eleement under this and in Assignment it has been given diffrerent Co.Code ,Business Area and Plant. While billing it is givng error stating that WBS element does not belong to Business Area. Can it be rectified now? I tried with CJ12, but it didn't allow me to do so.

Hi

SAP does not allow to change business area, once the CO entries are done.

SAP does not recommend that you subsequently change the business area in an order which contains actual costs or committments. For example, CO documents written before the subsequent change do not contain the business area and therefore deviate from future documents with a business area. Thus it is not possible to change the business area for orders which already have actual costs (field is not ready for input).
