Integration or interface to SRM

Hi,

I need some information on integrating SRM system with non SAP system.Can any one among you share your knowledge what is exact process of communicating SRM with non SAP backend system and how do we send the bulk data to SRM to carry out the business.I mean what kind of interfaces used to communicate both the systems.Your useful information can solve our problem.Presently we are trying to develop a tool which is based on SRM.Maximum points will be awarded.

You may design your interfaces using XI as middleware.

3rd party system can communicate with XI and then XI to SRM system. Creating bulk data using interfaces is possible in SRM.
